Why this role exists

As the Store Manager of Aquamaster’s flagship Phuket location, you own the customer experience, team performance, showroom standards, and operational results of the store.

You lead the frontline team, maintain strong relationships with dive centres and retail customers, keep stock accurate and well-presented, and ensure all orders, service items, and store activities run smoothly. This is a hands-on leadership role that blends sales, operations, customer service, and team coaching.

What you’ll do

1. Lead the team

  • Manage, coach, and develop Sales Administrators.
  • Set weekly goals and run short daily huddles.
  • Train staff in product knowledge, customer service, showroom standards, stock handling, and service intake.
  • Ensure SOPs and SLAs are followed consistently.

2. Own customer relationships

  • Act as the primary point of contact for key trade accounts and long-term partners.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dive centre owners, instructors, and retail customers.
  • Support the team by handling escalations or technical questions.
  • Ensure the store consistently delivers an outstanding customer experience.

3. Deliver strong sales performance

  • Help customers choose the right diving equipment and demonstrate products confidently.
  • Drive monthly revenue, margin, and attachment rates (e.g., reg sets, accessories, bags).
  • Build simple promotions, bundles, and product recommendations tailored for dive centres.
  • Monitor sell-through and ensure top sellers are always available.

4. Maintain showroom excellence

  • Keep the store appealing, organised, and aligned with Aquamaster’s brand standards.
  • Ensure pricing, labels, and product signage are always accurate.
  • Manage seasonal merchandising, promotional displays, and feature walls.
  • Ensure showroom stock levels support sales and replenish as needed.

5. Oversee stock & multi-branch coordination

  • Manage showroom replenishment.
  • Coordinate with Bangkok, Koh Tao, and Samui branches for stock movement.
  • Lead monthly cycle counts and support annual full stock audits.
  • Investigate stock discrepancies and work with the warehouse/admin to resolve issues.

6. Manage service & warranty operations

  • Ensure clean, organised intake and tracking of service/warranty items.
  • Coordinate expectations between technicians and sales admin.
  • Review technician findings and communicate customer-friendly explanations.
  • Handle difficult cases such as disputes, professionally.
  • Monitor technician workload and adjust timelines communicated to customers.

7. Drive operational discipline

  • Ensure accuracy of:
    • pricing displays
    • showroom tags
    • stockroom organisation
    • inter-branch transfer logs
    • service/warranty documentation
    • system notes and records
  • Audit store processes weekly to maintain consistency and standards.

8. Collaborate cross-functionally

Work closely with:

  • Warehouse – picking, packing, dispatch, stock accuracy
  • Technicians – service timelines, warranty findings
  • Finance – payment accuracy, VAT compliance
  • Sales Admin – enquiries, orders, showroom support
  • Purchasing – replenishment, urgent stock needs
  • Marketing – campaigns, promotions, displays

Act as the Phuket escalation point for inter-branch issues or delays.

What you’ll bring

Must-haves

  • Thai national
  • Excellent Thai and good English communication
  • 3+ years experience in store management, retail leadership, or a senior sales role
  • Proven ability to hit sales targets and run daily store operations
  • Strong people leadership, coaching, and communication skills
  • Confident with Outlook, Excel, and using POS/stock systems (ABSS/MYOB or similar)
  • Organised, reliable, and strong under pressure
  • Interest in diving equipment and willingness to learn (full training provided)

Nice-to-haves

  • Dive certification or hands-on diving experience
  • Background in specialty retail, sporting goods, or technical products
  • Experience working with service/technical teams
  • Experience managing both B2B and retail customers

You welcome customers in the showroom, handle all incoming enquiries, prepare accurate quotations, coordinate orders with the warehouse and other branches, and ensure every customer receives a smooth, professional experience – from first message to final delivery.

What you’ll do

Customer enquiries & showroom service

  • Greet walk-in customers and help them choose the right equipment.
  • Assist with fitting BCDs, masks, fins, and explaining product differences.
  • Handle enquiries across LINE / WhatsApp / email / phone with a friendly, professional tone.
  • Collect the correct information so you can prepare accurate quotations.

Quotes → Orders

  • Prepare quotations with correct SKUs, builds, sizes, colours, quantities, and promotions.
  • Double-check details before sending to ensure accuracy.
  • Convert approved quotes into orders and prepare documents for invoicing and delivery.

Order & delivery coordination

  • Coordinate stock availability across Phuket, Bangkok, Koh Tao, and Samui branches.
  • Raise preparation orders and communicate any special instructions to the warehouse team.
  • Coordinate with our warehouse or courier partners for dispatch.
  • Update customers with ETAs and tracking details.

Service & warranty support

  • Receive and record items for servicing or warranty claims.
  • Record clear notes so technicians can diagnose quickly.
  • Update customers on findings, costs, and timelines (with technician input).

Admin & data accuracy

  • Keep customer records, notes, and documents tidy and complete.
  • Support simple finance tasks (attach payment proofs, match invoices to orders, keep files organised).
  • Ensure showroom price tags match the system.
