Choosing the Right Scuba Diving Regulator

Unbalanced Regulators

Balanced Regulators
Balanced regulators are designed to provide consistent breathing performance across a wider range of cylinder pressures and diving conditions. They are an excellent choice for recreational divers looking for increased performance and comfort. Options include the Oceanic Delta 5 and Tecline R2.

Overbalanced Regulators
Designed for demanding diving conditions and increased performance at depth, overbalanced regulators increase intermediate pressure as ambient pressure increases. Models such as the Oceanic Zeo and Tecline R5 are suited to divers looking for high-performance breathing systems.
